QuickQRLibrary is the mini library management system in your pocket. Quick QR Library is aimed at those who have a small library of books, magazines or other items to keep track of, but whose primary business is not lending. As such Quick QR Library would suit:
• Choirs managing original scores
• Parent run community toy libraries
• Men’s shed tool libraries
• Company Textbook libraries
Once upon a time, printing barcodes required specialist printers. Now QR (Quick Response) codes can be printed by any printer and can be created via a number of simple means. The Quick QR Library application uses iOS’ in-built QR recognition abilities to scan two codes and save a link between them or remove a previous link.
Member or item codes can be scanned in look up mode to find which items are lent to whom.
Data can be exported via email or saved to a Dropbox or Google Drive folder.
By placing the data on a shared folder, many members of the same organization can load the data and perform librarian duty.
Configurable rules allow a maximum number of items to be lent to any given person.
The application comes with the ability to print some sample labels on Avery L7160 A4 labels.
